6) Suzuki SJ-410/Jimny (80's & 90's)

This is a small, 1000cc petrol engine jeep. SJ-410 is known, as Maruti Gypsi in India and it’s very popular in Indian Police and security agencies.

But it’s not very famous in Pakistan. Pak Suzuki made SJ-410 is called Suzuki Potohar. In 2007, Pak Suzuki replaced SJ-410 with all new Suzuki Jimny.

Imported Jimny 1980-97 including soft-top and long chassis are also there in Pakistan. Punjabi peseants and people living in desert like it. This is the best jeep for desert and muddy areas.

This old jeep is very common in hilly areas of Kashmir and the northern states, the area near Chinese boundary.

Toyota Landcruiser 5 doors wagon is an expensive SUV in Pakistan. Rich politicians, landlords and high-class businessmen own this SUV as a status symbol.
